Turns out #Katapult (former CANBOOT) now supports USB. My BTT Octopus v1.1 is now SO much easier to update 🥳 No more BOOT0 jumper and SD CARD firmware flashing. Next project automatic update off all my MCUs. github.com/Arksine/katapu…

Almost done calibrating the new build. So far it is VERY reliable, VFA is practically gone and extrusion is very consistent. Thank you Duet and DropEffect for designing very good products and e3d for delivering great 0.9 motors! Compare with mk4 when it arrives.

I just want to say: I really appreciate the @LDOMOTORSJASON quality of the Voron printer kits! Not only that, but also some included mods and the extra screws/nuts. Which are a lot. Still have left overs haha. Still really happy with my 2.4 & 0.2! 😊🤘

Nice! Wouldn't have expected that. I'm wondering if they only jailbroke the GUI side or if this also allows them to take a look at all the proprietary stuff and answer the question nonce an for all if the firmware is all custom or partly based on klipper/marlin.
Late Christmas News CUSTOM FIRMWARE FOR THE BAMBULAB X1 PRINTERS IS ALMOST HERE! While the team working on it wrap up the final release version, putting out a PSA that FW 1.7.1 locks it out so if you want to give it a spin stay on 1.7.09 or earlier More details in the coming days
