A retired NASA engineer who had worked on the Space Shuttle program for 25 years was hired by SpaceX at age 62. He described the first week as the most disorienting experience of his professional life. At NASA, a design change required 3 meetings, 2 committees, a review board, and 6 to 18 months of documentation. At SpaceX, his new supervisor said "if it works, build it. If it doesn't, change it by Friday." He sat at his desk after the first day and called his wife. He told her he felt like a man who had been swimming with ankle weights for 25 years and someone just cut them off. He could move. He could decide. He could build something in the morning and test it in the afternoon. The constraint that he had accepted as the nature of aerospace engineering turned out to be the nature of bureaucracy. Within 6 months he had contributed to more design iterations than he had completed in his last 5 years at NASA. Not because he was working harder. Because the time between having an idea and testing the idea collapsed from months to hours. The same brain. The same knowledge. A different operating system. He described a specific moment where he proposed a modification to a Raptor engine component. At NASA, the proposal would have entered a queue. At SpaceX, the modification was machined by the end of the day and tested by the following morning. He watched his idea become a physical object in 18 hours. At NASA, 18 hours would not have been enough to schedule the first meeting to discuss whether to schedule a meeting. He told an interviewer: "I didn't get smarter when I went to SpaceX. I got faster. The intelligence was always there. The system was in the way." The difference between SpaceX and NASA is not talent. NASA has extraordinary talent. The difference is the time between a thought and a test. SpaceX compresses it. NASA elongates it. The same engineer produces 10x more at SpaceX than at NASA because the bottleneck was never the engineer. It was the meetings about the meetings about the work.

For 14 years, he ran the Kroger on North Decatur Road in DeKalb County. On the morning of Saturday, May 24th, 2025, around 8:20 a.m., masked shoplifters walked out of his store. An elderly employee followed them outside. Cellphone video shows what happened next. The masked suspects swung a bag of paper towels at her. Then they SHOVED her. Michael ran out to help her. "He violated the company's shoplifting policy." The termination letter, Michael says, accused HIM of starting the fight. "I didn't even get to talk to the people that decided to fire me," he said. So the rule is: watch the elderly cashier get shoved in the parking lot. Do nothing to help her. Keep your job. Step in? You're the problem and you're fired OH, and the Black men in the masks? DeKalb County police say the case is "still open." No names. No descriptions. No arrests. AFTER 16 months. They beat an old woman, cracked a man's skull open, and walked away with paper towels and their freedom. The only person who has faced any consequence for what happened in that parking lot is the man who tried to stop it. 🚨INCREDIBLE: During a multi-vehicle collision on the Route 90 bridge in Ocean City, Maryland, a 2-year-old girl was ejected from a pickup truck, falling nearly 30 feet into the Assawoman Bay below. Jonathan Bauer, who was driving across the bridge with his teenage daughter when the crash occurred, rushed over to inspect the wreckage. Looking down into the water, he saw the toddler floating face down and becoming unresponsive. Without hesitation, Bauer instructed his daughter to flag down first responders, removed his shoes, and leapt off the bridge into the bay. He swam to the little girl, lifted her onto his shoulder, and patted her back until she coughed up water and began breathing again. A passing pontoon boat quickly navigated toward them, pulling both Bauer and the toddler out of the water and transporting them to shore, where emergency personnel were waiting. The child was airlifted to a regional medical center for evaluation and released the following day in good condition. Bauer was later honored by local law enforcement and civic leaders for his decisive actions and selflessness.

This week, the University of Utah is perpetuating perhaps the most grave injustice against conservative students I've ever seen. Rylie is the Vice President of College Republicans at @UUtah, and is currently being threatened with EXPULSION by the University because she perpetuated "threatening and endangering behavior" by taking a photo of Sara, a student involved with College Democrats, when Sara showed up to their table last week with a "Happy Kirkaversary" cake smeared in fake blood & waved it around in Rylie's face. Of course, *that* wasn't threatening behavior in any way, but Rylie taking a photo of the exchange completely legally is apparently grounds for EXPULSION. If you are an alumnus of the University of Utah, call the Alumni Department TODAY and demand the Administration honor Rylie's legal right to take a photo. And if you donate money in any way, shape, or form to U of U, STOP immediately. These people are not your ally. Praying for you and cheering you on, @Rylieparis05!

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a mob of Black "teens" dragged a White female college student off her own porch BY HER HAIR, dragged her to a stop sign, and then beat her UNCONSCIOUS... TWICE... ...while a crowd stood around FILMING it!!! The girls called 911 **FIVE TIMES** that night, but police didn't show up until AFTER the beating was over. This happened near York College in Pennsylvania. A group of students, young White women, were on the porch of their off-campus house when a stranger walked up and picked a fight and a mob of Black "teens" rushed them. One of the girls was ripped off the porch by her hair, dragged to a stop sign, then roughly a dozen people jumped her at once, kicking and punching her from every angle while a crowd of up to 30 encircled her. She blacked out TWICE... once from a kick to the ribs and again from a blow to the back of the head. And the whole time, she says, people were recording it on their phones and laughing... filming her get beaten unconscious for entertainment. Her friends were dragged down the steps by their hair too. One was already in a knee brace, recovering from an injury. The girls say they called 911 FIVE separate times. The first calls went out BEFORE the violence even started, when a crowd was gathering and cars were street racing so recklessly that one of them smashed into a parked car next to the firehouse. Five calls. They were told each time that officers were coming. Officers didn't arrive until it was over. Students say this isn't new and that large crowds gather there constantly, and that another student was attacked just two weeks earlier by what they believe is the same group of non-students. "The cops haven't done anything to protect us, and campus safety hasn't done anything. It feels like they're scared to get involved with 'these' people, but then it puts us at risk when they're doing nothing." WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!
