Trump: "Vivek Ramaswamy put up a very powerful Ad about a mother saying that her daughter, Amy Acton, who is running for Governor of Ohio, is a liar, and much worse. The Press, in a concerted and well coordinated attack, is trying to get Vivek Ramaswamy to 'take down the Ad.'

If you’re wondering why so many SA survivors don’t report, Amy Acton reported when she was 9-years-old and now it’s being used against her by Vivek Ramaswamy in an attack ad. That’s why.

I INSIST THAT YOU READ THIS. The first two answers are rather boring. But then, when journalists started grilling Trump about lifting sanctions on Russia in exchange for Steven Hubbard’s release, he began losing his temper and completely went off the rails. And yes, almost all the questions were about lifting sanctions. They barely asked him about anything else. Trump: “We are getting closer to settling this war, perhaps closer than ever before. Putin agreed to release Steven Hubbard. We gave nothing in return.” (We merely lifted sanctions on Russian diesel and increased pressure on Ukraine — my note.) Reporter: “Witkoff described Putin as a humanitarian. Would you describe him the same way?” Trump: “I think you can say something like that for a specific purpose — to free a man who thought he would spend the rest of his life in prison. We are negotiating with Russia to stop the war in Ukraine, and we are pleased that Russia is staying out of Iran. We flattened Iran. The last thing I want to do is cause damage when we are so close to settling the war. The last thing I want to do is something terrible. If we had done what these stupid people wanted [imposed sanctions on Russia], he [Hubbard] would never have been released. Whether people like it or not, Russia could have become much more involved in Iran, and so could China.” Reporter: “You’re heading to South Carolina to campaign for Darlene Graham, the sister of the late Lindsey Graham. What did she tell you about lifting the sanctions on Russia that they fought so hard for?” Trump: “I’ll tell you something interesting. As you know, we have a gentleman coming home from Russia who was captured four years ago during the Biden administration. That would never have happened if I had been president. We are negotiating with Russia, and a lot of stupid people who don’t understand how life works are asking, ‘Why are you doing this?’ If I hadn’t done it, Hubbard wouldn’t be coming home. You know nothing. You’re fake news, CNN. I got him out because I had very good and very quick negotiations with President Putin. We are negotiating with Russia over Ukraine. We may be closer to a deal than ever before, and this is not the moment to impose sanctions.” Reporter: “But sanctions in exchange for his release…” Trump: “You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re a low-IQ person. You’re stupid, and you work for CNN. If I’m negotiating and getting someone released from prison in Siberia or somewhere else… Biden should have brought him home, but I did. If I had imposed sanctions at that moment, the negotiations would have ended immediately. Use your brain.” Reporter: “Was it Elon Musk who ordered Starlink to be shut off?” Trump: “I don’t know who it was, but I had nothing to do with it.” Reporter: “How can you claim you gave nothing in return when you lifted sanctions on Russia to secure Hubbard’s release?” Trump: “Are you a stupid person? Who do you work for?” Reporter: “ABC News.” Trump: “You’re a stupid person. And by the way, your network is the worst of them all.” Reporter: “Let’s get back to the substance of the question…” Trump: (Walks away.)

Amy Acton's brother reacts to Vivek Ramaswamy using their estranged mother in a campaign ad: "...Our birth mother stayed married to Amy’s rapist until he died. This desperate, disgusting attack reveals exactly who Vivek Ramaswamy is at his core – a pathetic excuse for a man who is willing to hurt anyone as long as it gets him what he wants.”

As the hearing ends, Judge Reyes says she's heard from her mother & sister that CNN is reporting numerous death threats. Judge R says this is where we are - a federal judge is getting death threats over a golf course. "I don't think this is what the founders intended". Adjourned.

Okay so this is just open racism

11 years ago, we rallied as the Michigan community around a family. We prayed for them, we wore orange for them, & we cried with them one horrible day in November. Today, that little boy beside his grandpa, 2nd from right, walked back onto that field and led Michigan to victory.

This is what Voter Suppression looks like in 2026. GOP-controlled election boards in North Carolina declined to put an early-voting site back on the campus of North Carolina A&T after students had one in 2024. So these patriots marched nearly an hour in the heat to reach the polls on the first day of early voting. And they voted. Make it harder and we’ll still show up.

Students from North Carolina A&T can be seen marching back to their HBCU after voting on the first day of early voting in the state. The Guilford County Board of Elections voted to remove the school’s on-campus polling site. (video via @tmsimmons) greensboro.com/news/local/gov…

Any single individual having this amount of influence in our elections does not lead to a healthy democracy. It doesn’t matter if they are supporting Democrats or Republicans. We need a serious effort at campaign finance reform and have to overturn the Citizens United decision.

This morning, the federal government turned the full force of the Department of Homeland Security against a sitting member of Congress for the offense of disagreeing with the White House. The path to citizenship should not be weaponized against anyone, including Rep. Ilhan Omar, a naturalized American who swore an oath to this country — the same one that I took. The promise of citizenship should not be contingent on someone agreeing with the federal government.

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be

Jason Selvig: “What advice would you give to Democrats?” Trump supporter: “Get back to sanity. No transgender, no men in women’s sports”
JS: “Do you think trans men in women’s sports, that’s a big issue?” TS: “Yeah” JS: “Think about all the issues facing the country. There’s under ten people who are trans who compete in the NCAA, 500K athletes competing. Does that seem like an important issue that people should be spending this much time on?” TS: “Yeah”

He knows my name is Abdul. He says it everyday. But he’s not just attacking me. He’s attacking all of us. He thinks so low of us. He thinks he can use my name and my faith to distract us from the suffering his policies are inflicting on us at the pump, at the grocery store, and at the doctor’s office. He thinks we don’t know any better. It’s time for change.
