The context: Scherzer was asked about the ABS system and said he's not a huge fan, and thinks baseball needs a human element. "We need to keep that in baseball," he said.
Scherzer on umps: "We need to rank the umpires. Let the electronic strike zone rank the umpires. We need to have a conversation about the bottom — let's call it 10% — whatever you want to declare the bottom is, and talk about religating those umpires to the minor leagues."
