Happy new year! After a bit of Strixhaven with family over the winter break, I am back to DMing with @baldmangames ! I will be running some Wild Beyond the Witchlight for the January virtual D&D weekend and at Winter Fantasy in Ft. Wayne!

One technique I have started doing is counting damage dealt instead of hit points remaining. My goal is to try to make the combat dramatic and satisfying for the players.

@sergiosolorzano Yep! I think it's my favorite.

Came back home from #gameholecon to find some swag from the #DnDCelebration #DMChallenge!

Got to meet Jason Azevedo from @realmsmithtv! Into the Mist has been an inspiration for my own Curse of Strahd campaign.

@sergiosolorzano @GameholeCon @BeadleAndGrimms Absolutely. What Witchlight hand wouldn't?

Getting ready for a table of Lost Things at @GameholeCon! Thanks to @BeadleAndGrimms for the wings.

There's still a chance to play The Witchlight Carnival this weekend! I have plenty of space at tables 36 & 98. One space left for Hither, Part 1 at table 4. Plenty of other games available from great @BaldmanGames DMs! yawningportal.dnd.wizards.com/virtual-dd-wee…

@JaysNDragons Yellowstone is amazing! I hope you get to see some of it!

Localized versions of the Core Rulebooks (Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and Monster Manual) and the D&D Essentials Kit arrive THIS Friday, October 8 in German, French, Italian, and Spanish (ES) for our European communities! Check your local vendors for preorders!

Tickets for the October #VirtualDnDWeekend are on sale now! You join me at the epic Witchlight Carnival on tables 36 & 98 or exploring Hither at tables 4, 50, 75, & 110. yawningportal.dnd.wizards.com/virtual-dd-wee…

Thrilled to be returning to DM The Witchlight Carnival and the first steps into Prismeer with @baldmangames at the next #VirtualDndWeekend! Registration will open Tuesday.

I've been looking forward to this. I've been brainstorming some ideas…

D&D Celebration is just around the corner This means that the Adventurer's League Admins team will be running a panel for YOU! Do you have any questions about getting into AL, or how to find a game? Sept 24th 10AM PT Intro to Adventurers League!

What’s in the box?! Find out with me live at the conclusion of the #DMChallenge! Sunday 9/26 @ 3pm Pacific / Monday 9/27 @ 11am NZT #DNDCelebration

@JaysNDragons One thing I like to do is ask if characters have a particular background or feat, or proficiency in skill X or tool Y (especially for tools). I like to give them the moment to shine, and RP whatever they selected. They'll be more likely to succeed, especially if they RP well.
