Shout out to the Police officers who saved lives last night by running towards danger and rescuing people from a burning house in Dungannon. They gave no thought for their own safety while doing their duty. I hope everyone involved makes a full and speedy recovery.

Great night out with my 18 year old son in the Cavern club in Liverpool. Brilliant live musicians playing covers. Disconcerting that my boy knew all the words of songs from Phil Collins, oasis, bob Marley and the Beatles. Didn’t know any Elvis though. Needs some education ..

This pic came up in my memories. It was the meeting place for @Glentoran supporters to walk to all away games in Belfast. Used to be 200 + walked across accompanied by significant police presence . Some craic. Think I was about 12 ..

Many commenting on the policing op in Belfast. This is the reality of the consistent defunding . PSNI dealing with multiple seats of disorder and protest, acting professionally but still getting criticism from those who should be vocalising support, not taking cheap shots.
