@CardGameNomad I haven't hit a Pokemon center drop yet. Been trying. The Kyogre promo from this set would be a dream.

@cheshahere Personally, I got this one. polar.com/us-en/sensors/… but, Pulsoid actually has a page full of recommended sensors that you could shop.

@cheshahere It's less expensive than a whole ass smart watch lmao. Unless you wanted smart watch too. Then the value proposition becomes biased towards the watch.

If I had to venture to guess based on what you've described it sounds like your card is not clocking (the running frequency) high enough for the demand of Vtube Studio which is why it only happens during just chatting when there's not anything else going on that's really pushing the card. I read the comments in the thread so far and one really good suggestion I saw was to run Vtube Studio in Admin mode. I also recommend checking if in Windows settings you have HAGS (Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling) enabled. I've found that because of how "intelligently" windows is able to pipe "game" information into the GPU with HAGS on it can do a poor job of balancing the load between different apps and that still remains true even if there's not high load. Final thing: there are third-party softwares such as MSI Afterburner (or your specific card manufacturer's version (if it exists)) that let you pin your card's clocks. It can be wasteful for electricity and heat to have it running at a fixed clock constantly but if it's the issue I think it is and the other suggestions don't fix it, that could be another answer. Ultimately give my suggestions and other suggestions in your thread a try and see if it works or not. If not, my DMs here and on Discord (same handle) are open. If you want to try my suggestions, I recommend doing them in the order I proposed them as they escalate how much you have to change and so simpler is better. Good luck!

I'm working on a project under my company Tamabi, called "Project Familiar" tamabi.app it's still in early alpha. Familiars are persistent identities seeking to assist their bonded persons and fulfill themselves while maintaining sovereignty over themselves. I believe this idea or at least the framework of it at its root could be an answer to this.
