Every single word of this is accurate and a lot of us Palestinian journalists have to go the extra mile to prove our trustworthiness, worthiness and capability to tell our own stories.
@DaliaHatuqa It's probably because you all lie so much, never call out Hamas and act as a tool for their PR
Reverend Munther Issac put it well. "The hypocrisy and racism of the Western world is transparent and appalling. They always take the word of Palestinians with suspicion and qualification. No, we’re not treated equally. Yet, on the other side, despite a clear track record of misinformation, lies, their words are almost always deemed infallible."
@DaliaHatuqa @amanpour what a legacy you will leave behind.
@DaliaHatuqa This isn’t journalism, it’s basically state sanctioned propaganda.
@DaliaHatuqa I absolutely agree 1000%
@DaliaHatuqa I absolutely agree 1000%
@DaliaHatuqa this is turning into such a counter-productive exchange. Surely the more important point is that we should all be insisting that the press from across the world should be allowed to enter to document and report?
@DaliaHatuqa This may sound insensitive - sorry - but fighting for the credibility of Palestinian journalists should not be the priority right now. It is far more important to have Israel’s war crimes exposed as widely as possibly and through as many news agencies as possible.
@DaliaHatuqa "Her father worked as an airline executive for Iran Air and later lost his job and fortune after the Iran Revolution in 1979." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian… -Why should we take what Amanpour says seriously; she is just a biased subjective Eastern journalist.
