Me: it’s not a movie. Lawyers don’t send email: proposing “suppressing” a report and admitting this amounts to “withholding key documents”. The Post Office:
The email was sent by a one year qualified associate. Hope she doesn’t take the fall for it. And it seems odd to me that someone so junior was sending advice that was so significant.
@DanNeidle Little details: the author was a trainee. Presuming she sent the email with her supervising partner’s knowledge and approval— he was copied — then what on earth was he doing? Establishing plausible deniability?
@DanNeidle Brings into question how many other times and how many other cases, not confined to the PO, have they decided to not fully disclose information that may be detrimental to their clients ? If they've done it once.... But that's a whole new can of worms isn't it ?
@DanNeidle Is that Conspiracy? What is the actual crime they can be charged with?
