So…if a COVID test kit is coming up with an extremely light control line, would this mean any positive line would be lighter than usual? Would this test be considered completely in reliable?

Update — I know someone whose test was like this as they were testing to end isolation. They ended up using another brand that tested positive. This brand switched to positive at some point between 15 minutes and when they went to throw it out.
@DaniaPal This looks like a bad test. The control line isn’t present.
@DaniaPal Any sense on if these are tests that had their expiration date extended?
@DaniaPal Do not use this test. The control is there to show that the test is still good. If it’s not showing up strong, then the test should be discarded.
