No white men in any of the four top jobs in UK politics - something that simply could not happen in the current Labour or Lib Dem leaderships. D'you think Lefties might squint at the Tories and ask themselves whether positive discrimination is everything it's cracked up to be?
@DanielJHannan A strange thing to champion for a party of racists. How are the far-right Tory voter base going to feel?
@DanielJHannan And the best thing they got there on merit and not virtue signalling like labour MP'S
@DanielJHannan telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/… Meanwhile in Labour they have to have all Bame shortlists to ensure people of colour are given jobs
@DanielJHannan Tories: "Stop making everything about race" [Three people later] Also Tories: "See, all my best friends are..."
@DanielJHannan The first time in history. Under a modern, progressive party that knows that women don’t have penises.
@DanielJHannan @elaine_stott And all the roles have been given based on merit, wonderful
@DanielJHannan So what you’re saying is Truss appointed people not on merit but as a nod to diversity. Personally I’d rather see competent politicians in the role regardless of gender or race. Not something that could happen under the Tory party any time soon
@DanielJHannan You mean the privileged majority didn’t get into the top 4 roles in U.K. politics? Fixed it for you. Not sure what relevance that has on anything.
@DanielJHannan Equality should only apply to the starting line.
