Third isn't bad but I know we can be first. 🇨🇦 has an opportunity to build the sector and ensure it's built responsibly. New programs and funding opportunities from government over the last year are an amazing start and I know we're on the precipice of something big.

I got to visit @CarbonEngineer today and tour their innovation centre - great to see how they’re pushing ahead domestically and abroad. 🇨🇦 needs to be funding more carbon removal innovation and demonstration projects. The best way to get to net-zero is to get things built.

Oh look, @Climeworks DAC tech has gotten significantly cheaper while performing significantly better after years of experience in the field. Almost as though DAC is like nearly every other technology throughout history ... Build. Deploy. Improve. Repeat.
