Today's positive cases from Anantnag: 7 returned two days back from Delhi ; 8 from DPL ( contacts); 4 close contacts/family members of earlier positives. Numbers shudnt overwhelm us. Today 7 positives returned home. That's good news.
Today results of about 500 samples came. 4 tested positive. Out of these 3 are contacts of positive patient and 1 returned 2 days back from Punjab.
Huge respect for Dr. Zahid Abdul Majeed, who risked his life and saved a critical covid19 patient at AIIMS, Delhi. He is a native of Anantnag, currently in quarantine. Appreciate his outstanding valor and bravery. Let us pray he comes out well and healthy.
Today's positive is a returnee from Sonipat. Family tested negative. 5 positive cases returned negative today. 3 sent home. Have done vigorous testing. About a thousand in last three days.
Today's positive cases: 2 close contacts of yesterday's positive; 1, a resident of Dooru working in Srinagar who has been there in Srinagar for last 20 days.
11 cases from Anantnag today ( 9 contacts of positive cases, 2 with travel history). 7 added to today's list are actually positive cases who were retested for confirming if they have recovered. Trying our best to give hundred percent in line of duty. Stay home, stay safe.
Prilimnary reports suggest the dead body was taken away by relatives fearing they will have to wait for burial if sample is taken for covid test. Most unfortunate to say the least.
Today's positive also from the same Nowgam red zone. Trying our best to contain it. All of our Covid cases are asymptomatic. We hope our first positive case will return negative after we test him tomorrow. Stay home, stay safe.
With peoples support in the lockdown, Anantnag has seen very few cases of Covid. With your cooperation we hope to tide over this threat. Restrictions to continue in the district.
When you wake up to more restrictions, pl don't be cross with us. It's for our own welfare. Stay home, stay blessed.
I clarify to the esteemed people of Anantnag that no case is positive in district Anantnag. I appeal once again to stay home, save yourselves, save your near and dear ones and the general public. Coming out on streets is not only illegal but unethical also.
A fervent appeal to the people of Anantnag. So far we have held out against COVID-19. Pl avoid travel especially inter-district travel. Let us choose the right option: stay home stay safe.
Fight against COVID-19 has to be a collective effort. Besides Government agencies, our NGOs, Civil Society, Auqafs etc must rise to the occasion. Most of the people are cooperating. They deserve all praise. All of us have to realize our role before it is too late.
