Monday: options priced Netflix to move ±9.5% on earnings. Today: -7%. Beat on EPS, weak Q4 outlook. $100 risk with a 3% stop = $3,333 position. A -7% gap = -$233. More than 2x the plan. Tesla (±7.6%) and Meta (±6.9%) report tonight. Size for the gap, not the stop.

The 10-year US Treasury yields ~5.1%. Earlier this month it hit 5.35%, the highest since 2002. $10,000 there ≈ $510 a year, no screen time. That's the bar. If your trading doesn't beat ~5% after fees, you're taking more risk for less. Do you know your real yearly return? $TLT #invest

3 mistakes that only show up when you keep a journal: 1. Moving your stop further away 2. Trading right after a loss 3. Entering without a target You can't fix what you don't measure.

Expectancy tells you if your trading has an edge: (win % x avg win) - (loss % x avg loss) Example: 40% wins, avg win $300 60% losses, avg loss $100 0.4 x 300 - 0.6 x 100 = +$60 per trade You can win less than half your trades and still make money.
