Solo has empaquetado riesgos conocidos. Antes de preguntar cuánto gana, pregunta de dónde viene.

A forecast can become more accurate without becoming more valuable. If it never changes what you buy, sell, hedge, or size, the extra precision may have no economic value. The goal isn’t to predict more. It’s to make better decisions.

An index can become less volatile without any of its stocks becoming less volatile. The stocks simply stop moving together. When you trade index options, you’re trading correlation too. Whether you realize it or not.

@Rifat_EE Yes! And that’s why fee APR alone can be misleading. A pool can generate attractive fees while losing much of that value to arbitrageurs through LVR. What matters is what LPs actually retain after adverse selection.

@Rifat_EE Exactly. And since gamma isn’t constant, where and when those moves happen matters too. It’s the gamma-weighted realized variance that drives P&L, not just realized vol alone.

Two price paths. Same start, same finish. Different P&L. A delta-hedged option doesn’t just care where the market ends. It cares how much it moved along the way and how much implied volatility you paid for. The path is part of the trade.

Option prices can imply a 10% crash probability without that being a 10% real-world forecast. They reflect not only the odds of an outcome, but also how expensive that risk is to bear. Risk-neutral probabilities ≠ real-world probabilities.

Your model never trained on the test set. But if you kept redesigning it after seeing the results, you did. Overfitting can happen through the researcher, not just the code.

An annualized funding rate is not an expected annual return. It extrapolates today’s cash flow over a year, even though the rate can compress, flip, or disappear. Annualizing is arithmetic. Modeling persistence is where the edge might be.

Exige apostar menos.

Cash isn't just the absence of a position. It preserves the ability to act when others are forced to sell. But that optionality has a cost. If you don't know what would make you deploy it, you may be paying for flexibility you'll never use.
