Yesterday, the EPA finalized rules to reduce CH4 pollution from the oil and gas industry, and finalized updated estimates of the social cost of GHGs. The new value has a central estimate of $190 per ton CO2 in 2020, up from $50 using older models epa.gov/system/files...

Me too! Some may think a non-academic job slows you down if your ultimate goal is academia. For me, that wasn't the case at all. It gave me a massive head start and a great network. (Note that when I started at @IFPRI my goal wasn't academia...it just turned out that way.)
I'm adding to this building set of posts because my academic career wouldn't be what it has been without my time at @USDA_ERS. I made great friends and collaborators, learned a ton about the agricultural sector, and figured out how I like to spend my time. Highly recommended!
