Tyrese Halliburton is so good in part because he’s allowed to run with the ball
Nico Harrison told Neville Chamberlain, “Eh, just let him have it.”
Nico Harrison likes BOTH the play-in tournament and the in-season tournament. He also likes the new All Star Game format.
Nico Harrison was adamant that George Mason didn’t belong in the NCAA tournament in 2006.
Nico Harrison once told Kobe, “Don’t worry about the weather, take the helicopter.”

Nico Harrison wondered aloud why OKC hasn’t traded SGA for Rudy Gobert yet?
Nico Harrison called penicillin a fad in 1933
Nico Harrison supports slapping tariffs on allies for no good reason
In 1984, while working in Portland’s front office, Nico Harrison was the leading voice behind drafting Sam Bowie, because of MJ’s “attitude issues.”
Nico Harrison invested his lifesavings in Enron in 2000
Stu Vetter’s bball camp in the ‘90s brought in Childress and Tim Duncan (before his senior year) as guests. For some reason they only let each camper get one autograph. The entire camp lined up to get Duncan’s… except for me. Always loved the way Randolph Childress played.
In addition to fewer games, the NBA needs to incentivize roster continuity. It’s hard for fans to get too invested in their team’s performance when there are so many new players coming in all the time
The NBA is turning to weird gimmicks to fix its rating issues. For higher ratings, the players need to play more. For them to do that, each game needs to be more valuable. The NBA doesn’t like the real solution… fewer games.
There are some really good national NBA announcers, but Bob Myers is the worst in-game analyst. He comes up with 3 points before the game and beats the hell out of them for 48 minutes because he doesn’t actually have anything intelligent to say about the game in front of him.
“Literally”
Quite literally the Dennis Rodman of women’s basketball
The officiating in the U.S.- Serbia semifinal was one-sided in favor of Serbia. It hurt them on the last possession when they tried to foul and mugged the ballhandlers. The refs simply wouldn’t call the foul because they hadn’t called those fouls all game. #USABasketball
The U.S. men’s basketball team has done everything right. The problem against Serbia through 3 quarters in the semis was they were too unselfish on offense which led to turnovers and slowed the pace. #Olympic2024
