So what happens next? Two possibilities: 1) Israel strikes back hard. The regional war begins. The US gets dragged in to help Israel, not with boots on the ground but in every other way. Netanyahu is comfortable with this scenario or he wouldn't have bombed the Iranian embassy on April 1. Hawks in Washington who have sought war with Iran for two decades are euphoric. Both Ukraine and Israel get funding, but US stockpiles are already stretched thin so hard trade-offs must be made. In particular, there just aren't enough air defense missiles to go around. Both wars go from bad to worse. Biden loses in November. OR 2) Biden tells the Israelis not to retaliate, using all of his leverage to make them stand down. The choice should be obvious but Biden may not be capable of executing Option 2. So war it is.
@DavidSacks Option 1 is better for the defense stocks that all of the members of Congress purchased on Thursday and Friday.
Option 3. Israel and Iran are too far apart to fight a ground war. Exchanges of attacks on military bases are nothing new. This time the conflict will be around trade routes (Red Sea, Strait of Hormuz) and oil prices. The goal is to "ISOLATE" Europe from Asia, East Africa, India and the Pacific. Putting Europe on an “energy” and resource diet, as well as blocking export routes from Europe, will give enormous strategic and trade advantages to Russia and China, and will also strengthen the dominance of Iran and Saudi Arabia in the region. At the same time, a weak Europe will cling to the US for protection and energy supplies. Europe will buy more weapons and American LNG with US debt dollars. Europe will not be able to supply Ukraine with enough weapons, food and gas, and without resources, Ukraine's defenses will collapse. At the same time, China will compete with Japan for the Pacific Islands and the Philippines, and US maritime trade with India will be blocked - Russia and China will be able to increase their friendly support. In this game - Israel is just a pawn.

@DavidSacks What stock did Nancy Pelosi buy last week? There’s your answer.
@DavidSacks @deplorable1313 preposterous false choice. Typical nonsense.
Seems like your analysis is way off. Occams razor that is consistent with Biden’s administration is that he seeks to descalate conflicts while balancing it with providing defense resources to allies. Russia sent troops over the Ukraine border (twice), had Iran done the same Bidens response would still be measured. Whether that is the best course of action for the US, only time will tell.
@DavidSacks In either choice, it's force majeure for the USA. To allow Israel to fall into hands of Islamists would be as much a disaster for the West as Constantinople. x.com/BigBrainPol/st…

@DavidSacks These proxy wars print money (literally) for the military industrial complex without the pushback of American deaths like in Iraq and Afghanistan. As long as Biden is president as a hollow shell doing what he’s told, I expect the money press to run.
