@SarSings27 @TwoGuysNoCup People can get injured on any type of hit. Clean or not. It was unfortunate that pavelski was injured but 5 minutes was not necessary for this hit. Either way hope joe gets better

@SarSings27 @TwoGuysNoCup Was the hit needed in a 3-0 game. No. But the hit was legal. Maybe 2 minutes but it is playoff hockey and that stuff is let go. The contact with the ice was what caused the injury not the hit

@SarSings27 @TwoGuysNoCup So hitting a player who is able to be hit isn’t allowed. He wasn’t a defenseless player when Eakin hit him so idk how he could know pavelski was going to slam his head off the ice when he went for the hit

@SarSings27 @TwoGuysNoCup Wait so are we talking hockey or martial arts cause I’m pretty sure there have been worse cross checks done in front of the net after a whistle.

@SarSings27 @TwoGuysNoCup I recall Wayne Simmonds hitting Brian dumoulin in the stadium series game up high and caused Dumoulin to be injured and left the game but Simmonds only received a 2 min unsportsmanlike penalty.

@SarSings27 @TwoGuysNoCup So basically what you are saying is since pavelski lost his balance, fell awkwardly and got injured that it requires a major penalty to be called...
