It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Phil Benfey. Phil provided valuable input into the ENSA programme. We will miss his passion and enthusiasm for science and its impact. This is a huge loss to plant and agricultural sciences. Our condolences to his family.
We are delighted to have the privilege of hosting Dr. Guo-Liang Wang, who is a Distinguished Scholar from the Department of Plant Pathology at Ohio State University. He was talking about one of projects, a fungal effector MoCDIP4 involved in mitochondria mediated plant immunity.

Check out our new study published in Current Biology through collaboration with the Giles Oldroyd group. We discovered chitin signaling is essential for AMF symbiosis and, for the first time, identified a higher order LysM-RLK mutant that blocks AMF colonization in M. truncatula.

A highly engaging seminar with Dr. Parastoo Azadi @CCRCUGA at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center, shedding light on spike receptor protein hACE2 glycosylation and its impact on coronavirus binding. They also found the conserved glycosylation site among SARS-CoV-2 variants.
