@Algomint_io @HashingSlash @OysterPack @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle Tweeting/Communication is free, you should let your audience know you’re still alive and kicking. (It’s been awhile) Might mess around and drum up some business. 🤯 If you need help with your marketing you should reach out. Plenty of #Algofam would lend a hand.
@Richflairstv @HashingSlash @OysterPack @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle Def could do more on socials. Would have been nice to get some support for the ADA bridge and TDR to keep the liquidity but you decided to put your efforts into killing that. Then you shit post about MC and now suggest the community is there to help? 🤯🤪
Ada bridge was not a good idea for money you were asking. (bridges in general aren’t trustworthy, confusing for the average user and are not a needed service right now) You could literally do that idea now without funding and it would cost no money expect a couple hours of your time. Team up with @GoPlausible knock it out. AI generates free art. 😎 The community isn’t just one person. There are plenty of people with different opinions.
@Richflairstv @HashingSlash @OysterPack @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle You are so incredibly ignorant. This is why its difficult to engage with folk like you, you have zero idea of what it costs to build or maintain any kind of infrastructure. You cannot build a centralised bridge in a couple of hours. You need audits, custody providers etc.
@Algomint_io @HashingSlash @OysterPack @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle You don’t need a bridge to create NFT incentives from other chains. I know what things cost I work with devs on this chain. I also know how to think outside the box. Bridges are irrelevant in web3 right now. Has no market fit.
@Richflairstv @HashingSlash @OysterPack @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle Bridges are what brings liquidity here, ther would be no BTC or ETH on Algorand without them.
We would be fine without those tokens. Wrapped tokens are not a high priority item in web3 anywhere. Again market fit. We have so many bridges on Algorand and they have done nothing but get funding and fail. No one uses them enough. Wormhole, Messina, Algomint, glitter finance, london bridge. (I’m missing a couple more) All these funded bridges with no marketing, no market fit and no user base.
@Richflairstv @Algomint_io @HashingSlash @OysterPack @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle Not sure if I agree with this point. I'm currently building a online marketplace for freelancers. I ran a poll on preferred payments: ➡️USDC/USDT: 68% ➡️Wrapped BTC: 30% ➡️Algo: 2% goBTC will help massively for this if the polled results are anything to go by.
@DeFiFrontiers @Richflairstv @HashingSlash @OysterPack @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle It's ok John we don't need BTC or ETH on Algorand, who would want to trade those 😆
@Algomint_io @DeFiFrontiers @Richflairstv @HashingSlash @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle @Algomint_io had the product vision, but the team has vastly underdelivered. It is what it is. "Golden Bridge to the Algorand DeFi Ecosystem" medium.com/algomint/golde… "Algomint awarded bridge grant from Algorand Foundation" medium.com/algomint/algom…
@OysterPack @Algomint_io @Richflairstv @HashingSlash @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle Honestly curious, how have they underdelivered? The last time I checked, their BTC and ETH bridge worked perfectly. With over $5 million in TVL that is also a fair amount to do some useful trading as well. The only thing I'd like to see improved is utility for goMint.
@DeFiFrontiers @Algomint_io @Richflairstv @HashingSlash @nmadon65 @mochanerd @circle These are feedback and questions for @MichaelDCotton and @AJ_Milne (@Algomint_io founders) to honestly reflect on and answer.
