It’s been a while but will my zombie game make a comeback!!! Well that’s what I keep telling myself 😂

The irony is that my zombie game is taking so long to make it might be dead. Like a zombie.

This zombie really needs to get some work done. A Time Machine would be really useful about right now.

@Horsefly_games They say anything over 1000 is a good start, so you are at least getting there. Mine is a long way from that, though I do need to get gameplay added to a video/trailer, which is killing mine I think.

@Horsefly_games That's still good compared to mine, it goes up by 1 or 2 every few weeks and loses 1 every so often, still trying to get over 200.

The new controller system in #Unreal seems way more powerful than the previous method, but also now more effort. I assume to give developers more options, but I do miss game engines that just make it work for 99% of the things you want to do.

Zombie is tired right now, but hoping to get back to #unreal shortly. I've been able to get a single #xbox controller key moving my character north in the game (dungeon sections). Now it should be easier to retro fit the other controls. My main concern is in the rest of the game.

Zombie is trying to clean his office today. It's always so much work to clean, but suppose it's a good time to get it done. Might work on adding controller support to #DeadOfDay later to see how easy/hard that is to do. Before I switch off all equipment for a day so I can paint.

My #zombie based #retro #dungeoncrawler game is slowly coming along but my wishlist is pretty static of late. Need to figure out how to get more people interested. Anyone used X adverts or have any other advice in how to grow? (And yes I know I need to provide more gameplay vids)

Wish list for #DeadOfDay has pretty much stalled, not sure how to get more visibility on it. Not sure twitter or other social media is the way at the moment, its all full of bots and pushing #MrBeast stuff (i.e popular things).

It's amazing how something that should be very simple to do in a game engine is just a pain to do. I need to sort out the actual animations as they are a bit clunky right now, but just getting it working was the first step. New dev update coming soon.

Back working on #DeadOfDay again after a bit of a break due to work commitments. #Zombies are coming back alive. It's been about a month or so since I last did any work, but found a #unreal plugin that allows me to animate easily in UMG. What a pain game dev is.

Finally did another upload of a build to #steam for #DeadOfDay but this time for MAC. Wow forgot how difficult it is, oh well got it working now. Last time I updated it was Feb 2017 😂

#DeadOfDay continues build 0.03. These last few weeks have been concentrating on the loading of and moving around the mini map. Furthest I've ever got in the development of this game!
