The 7 Churches in the Revelation: He who has an ear, "Hear what the Spir... youtu.be/HJ5TEmJcuWE?si… via @YouTube
The messages in Revelation 2–3 are letters from the risen Christ to seven actual congregations in first-century Asia Minor. Each follows a similar pattern: a title drawn from the vision of Christ in chapter 1, a commendation where one is deserved, a rebuke where needed, a call to hear what the Spirit says, and a promise to the overcomer. In a dispensational reading they also sketch successive conditions in the church age, ending with the lukewarm state that precedes the Lord’s return.
Ephesus (2:1–7) — Christ, who holds the seven stars and walks among the lampstands, praises their labor, endurance, and rejection of false apostles and the Nicolaitans. Their fault is that they have left their first love. They are told to remember, repent, and do the first works, or He will remove their lampstand. The overcomer will eat of the tree of life.
Smyrna (2:8–11) — The First and the Last, who was dead and is alive, has no rebuke for this poor but spiritually rich church. They face slander from a synagogue of Satan and a short tribulation; some will be imprisoned. They are told not to fear, and to be faithful unto death. The overcomer will not be hurt by the second death and will receive the crown of life.
Pergamum (2:12–17) — He who has the sharp two-edged sword notes that they hold His name and did not deny the faith even where Satan’s throne is (Antipas was martyred there). He rebukes those who hold the teaching of Balaam (idolatry and immorality) and the Nicolaitans. They must repent or He will fight against them with the sword of His mouth. The overcomer receives hidden manna and a white stone with a new name.
Thyatira (2:18–29) — The Son of God, with eyes like fire and feet like burnished bronze, commends their growing love, faith, service, and endurance. He condemns tolerance of “Jezebel,” who teaches sexual immorality and idolatry; her followers face tribulation unless they repent. The rest, who do not hold that teaching, are told only to hold fast. The overcomer is given authority over the nations and the morning star.
Sardis (3:1–6) — He who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says they have a name of being alive but are dead. Their works are incomplete before God. A few have not soiled their garments. They must wake up, strengthen what remains, and repent, or He will come like a thief. The overcomer will be clothed in white and confessed before the Father and the angels.
Philadelphia (3:7–13) — The Holy and True One, who holds the key of David, opens a door no one can shut. He commends their little strength and the fact that they have kept His word and not denied His name. He will keep them from the hour of trial coming on the whole world. They are told to hold fast so no one takes their crown. The overcomer becomes a pillar in God’s temple and receives the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and Christ’s new name.
Laodicea (3:14–22) — The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation, finds nothing to praise. They are neither cold nor hot, and because they are lukewarm He will spit them out. They claim to be rich and need nothing, yet they are wretched, poor, blind, and naked. He counsels them to buy refined gold, white garments, and eye salve, and to repent. He stands at the door and knocks; the one who hears and opens will dine with Him. The overcomer sits with Him on His throne.
Across the letters, Christ distinguishes genuine faithfulness from outward religion, rewards endurance, and warns that compromise and self-sufficiency cost the church its lampstand and its usefulness. The repeated call is the same: “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
The Second Coming of Jesus foretold in Zechariah and Revelation youtu.be/i53JsNPen7Q?si… via @YouTube
520 years before the birth of Jesus, Zechariah foretold the First and Second Coming of Jesus. Zechariah described the events that are happening today: Jerusalem is the focus of world attention; the nations are opposed "Israel" all of this is going to lead to Armageddon as described by Zechariah.
Zechariah 12 tells us;
1. All the nations will be gathered against Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:3,9)
2. God will supernaturally help the nation of Israel (Zechariah 12:6-7)
3. The nation will be rescued by God Himself, described as the one "look on me, on him whom they have pierced" (Zechariah 12:10)
When was God pierced? He was pierced on the Cross, Jesus arms and legs were pierced as He was nailed to the cross. And side was pierced before they brought him down.
This same verse is quoted in Revelation 1:7
Revelation 1:7 (7) Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
Zechariah 14 also describes the event as Jesus descends from Heaven, with the armies of Heaven. Also known as Armageddon (Revelation 16:16). All the armies are headed to Israel, they are demonically inspired.
Revelation 16:14-16 (14) For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. (15) (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”) (16) And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. They are in for a surprise, because according to Zechariah their flesh, eyes and tongues dissolve while they are standing.
Zechariah 14:12 (12) And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. Jesus descends from Heaven, with the armies of Heaven, riding on a white horse, the birds are called to a feast, to feast on the flesh of the nations gathered against Jerusalem. This is what Zechariah 12:10 is describing.
Bible Prophecy alert!. Major events are taking place as we are living on the front pages of Bible Prophecy. Ezekiel was a prophet who lived 2600-years ago, yet he foretold the establishment of the nation of Israel in the last days. He also wrote about the conflicts that would involve Israel before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
Ezekiel wrote after the nation is established in the “Last Days” an invasion would take place against the new nation of Israel. He gives us specific nations involved in this conflict and where they are coming from, all these nations are allied with Russia.
1.Gog, from the land of Magog in the far north. This could only refer to Russia, Moscow is directly north of Jerusalem about 1600-miles.
2.He notes Persia, also known as Iran today. Iran is part of this invasion. Iran and Russia are in a powerful alliance opposed to Israel. The war in Ukraine only fuels the desire for Russia's revenge.
3.Beth-Togarmah this was also known as Armenia; Russia has a military presence there, and has no intention of leaving.
4.Put is the ancient name of Libya, the Russian military is also active there in confirming its allies to maintain power.
5.Cush is also known as Ethiopia, Russia is building military bases in Sudan a neighbor of Ethiopia. Russia and China are making major economic and military moves in Africa.
6.Gomer this tribal assembly of nations because he calls them hordes, Gomer was noted in the Talmud as Germany, these tribes include many people. For example, Germany, France, Austria and other nations have Germanic descent.
Ezekiel also tells us this is a prophecy that will be fulfilled in the LAST DAYS, before Jesus Christ returns., Israel first must be gathered in the land (Ezekiel Chapters 36 to 37 proclaim this). Following Israel being established as a nation, the armies of this Russian/Islamic attack on Israel will take place, God defeats this alliance. Then Israel will build the Third Temple, since God saved them. This will not save Israel, the nation must first come to the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, this only happens at the end of the Tribulation period.
The nation of Israel is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, 2600 years ago God,through the prophet
Ezekiel proclaimed that Israel would be restored as a nation and that that Nation would know the Lord God. He pictured that Israel as a valley of dry bones with no hope, of being resurrected but Ezekiel was told to prophesy to the bones and the bones came together and became the nation of Israel, a Great and mighty army. This is going to be fulfilled in the end times and as we watch current events taking place right now it's happening.
Ezekiel 37:1-28 ESV - The Valley of Dry Bones
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones.
2 And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry.
3 And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord GOD, you know.”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the LORD.”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a sound, and behold, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
8 And I looked, and behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them. But there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord GOD: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
11 Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy, an

The Moon God Sin in the Ancient Near East
In ancient Mesopotamian religion, Sin (also known as Nanna in Sumerian) was the powerful god of the moon. He was a central figure in the pantheons of Sumer, Akkad, Assyria, and Babylonia.
Divine Roles and Genealogy: Sin was typically viewed as the son of Enlil (the god of wind and earth) and Ninlil. He was the head of the astral triad, which also included Shamash (the sun god) and Ishtar (the goddess of the planet Venus and war). Because the lunar calendar governed agricultural cycles and timekeeping in ancient Mesopotamia, Sin was revered as the lord of wisdom, time, and destiny.
Primary Cult Centers: His two most prominent cult centers were Ur in southern Mesopotamia (where his primary temple was the famous E-gish-sig-gal) and Harran in northern Mesopotamia. Harran remained a major stronghold for his worship well into the classical era.
Iconography: He was often depicted as an old man with a flowing beard made of lapis lazuli, riding a winged bull or wearing a horned tiara. The crescent moon was his primary symbol
