First half thoughts: This is the slowest fucking midfield we've ever fielded and they all take 5 secs to choose a pass. Needs an Esmir for Kaye substitution early in the second half. Vrioni needs to make more forward runs to drop the line and decompress the midfield. #NERevs

Bou was making $2.6MM, so no, it probably wasn't super feasible to ask him to take a 60%+ pay cut. Nor would it be particularly wise to light TAM on fire for years 34-35 of a player that has missed a season's worth of games over the last 2 seasons. #NERevs

I think the ideal "style" of striker to play with Gil/Borrero/Chanc is one more in the mold of a Cucho, Luis Suarez, Tati Castellanos type. Bou would have been that 5-6 years ago. I just don't think he has the wheels to do the def work to let us leave Chanc/Dylan high. #NERevs

Vrioni is a tough call this offseason. His style is more suited to the creative interplay that'll take place between Gil/Chanc/Borerro than Bobby. But those 3 are shooters - you want a 9 making runs behind that drag centerbacks out. Not a target clogging the middle. #NERevs
