@Nedbank @Nedbank South Africans deserve better from a major financial institution. We deserve access to consultants, working support lines, and basic accountability when mistakes happen. This matter will remain public until it is resolved.

@Nedbank, Please explain how it is acceptable to double-debit a home loan, then offer no in-branch assistance, no home-loans consultant, and no functional support line.

@Nedbank @Nedbank What makes this worse is the apparent effort to keep this quiet, rather than resolve it transparently and immediately.

This is not an inconvenience — this is people’s livelihoods. It is Christmas tomorrow, and money meant for food, transport, and children’s clothes has been taken twice, with no urgency or accountability from the bank responsible.

@Nedbank I visited a branch in good faith to resolve your error, only to be met with dismissive attitudes and told to call a toll-free number that is permanently busy. After waiting over an hour, there was still no assistance.

@Nedbank You are making our Januworry load even faster. Why on earth are getting duplicate debits a day before Christmas?

@Nedbank @Sonja_Nel Calls are not being answered by your Home loan collection division. I am holding for 50 mins now as I type this. Such incompetency has become a norm in SA

@vumatel This thing is still not working. You keep on trying to do the same thing remotely. Is it not obvious that something is wrong with the connection itself and you need to send someone physically to come and fix it. Come on now 😒

@vumatel You really an incompetent lot. It's 2022 and you can't fix a simple internet connection. Yet you say you provide internet. It is not rocker science. Send a technician to fix this.
