Traders switch exchanges easily, and volume follows market cycles. Some of crypto's largest venues are building something users have more reason to stay with: neobank-style accounts that hold fiat, digital assets and stocks, with a card to spend them. @Gate recognized that being a trading venue is no longer enough, even as one of the top exchanges by trading volume and reserves transparency. Two weeks after launching Gate Money, @Gate published a Proof of Reserves showing $8.688B in reserves against $7.332B in net user balances. The overall ratio comes to 118.49% across 500 assets.
