Did Cris Collinsworth just say hardcore man-to-man? Oh yeah, it's football season!

@BikeLanesBoston @Venomx303 @aLogoat_ @Mplic1t As a tech worker for over 15 years, if you think this is the "best" time to be in this field you're either very young or very stupid

@doulbedoink People just enjoy having things to complain about. And I would guess the people who say popular music is "the worst thing they've ever heard" probably have highly questionable taste in music themselves.

@pieydfm @speightsmuse @oversizedpine @eidolon187 I mean I'm not about to say that's the best way to express what they meant, but at the end of the day just based on those facts alone I can't say they meant it in a way that's "close" to justifying rape

@pieydfm @speightsmuse @oversizedpine @eidolon187 ok. while that may be true, I think most people can see a sizable difference between "our biological purpose is to reproduce" and "I am OWED a woman's body." sure, people can use some twisted logic to get from point A to B, but there's a long ways in between.

@Aston12017588 @OrevaZSN The cost of everything is already going up, and it's been going up faster than wages for the past 40 years. At this rate there will soon come a time when most people will constantly be in debt just to survive.

@blueblueballou @jeremymstamper @CircusSSCaine Any kid whose first response to something like this is "I'm a minor!" knows damn well they deserve an ass kicking

@pieydfm @speightsmuse @oversizedpine @eidolon187 That mindset is irrelevant to the topic. Why does it matter how a rapist tries to justify their despicable thoughts and actions?

@Icy_911 @JohnJames348031 @unusual_whales I didn't say there weren't similarities. Why does that matter? Total credit card debt in our country is like 1.3 trillion. That's nothing compared to what the gov't is racking up.

@Icy_911 @JohnJames348031 @unusual_whales What does that have to do with "accountability?" The people in our government are the ones choosing to make the debt higher, not poor people.

@gizalovespizza As someone who builds some of this technology, I don't think this is an unpopular opinion. I also wonder what would happen if people started forming communities where the highest level of technology allowed is from 1999.

People who want to repeal the 19th amendment are hilarious to me. The writing is on the wall: NONE of our votes matter. Our democracy is a failed experiment that puts corrupt, power-hungry people in office regardless of how you vote.

@ohlowlita @diotimapunished This. How do people not understand that alt scenes (rock, metal, goth, punk, etc) are about freedom of expression and rejecting traditional views on things like sex, drugs, politics, etc. These pearl-clutching weirdos need to do some research on the history of this music.

@kevinsnewsfeed @Ravonic @Owennfa There are many metropolitan areas where the average cost of a house is 400k or more. So your choices are either don't live in certain cities, or continue blowing through money renting. It's just a bad economic situation.

@kevinsnewsfeed @Owennfa This is a ridiculous take. Wages have not nearly kept up with the costs of housing, food, etc. over the past 50 years. That's not an excuse, it's simply a fact. We are on a trajectory of economic destruction that will make everyone a "loser."
