Strelkov aka Girkin offers a frontline update, in which he mentions the use of aviation by Ukraine in the hottest point in the South, near Orikhiv. Also he deems the next 2-3 weeks crucial "Fierce fighting continues near Orekhovo and in the area of the Vremevsky salient. The battle is in the nature of "attrition". Heavy losses on both sides. The vast majority of the losses are the result of artillery and missile strikes. The enemy even uses aircraft. There are no significant changes to the front line. The enemy has sharply increased attacks in the area south and north of Bakhmut, is trying to bypass the city from both directions, and is also pressing on the flank in the area north of Soledar. The fighting is extremely fierce, in a number of places the enemy managed to achieve a tactical penetration into our defenses. Apparently, in an effort to pull off enemy reserves from the Bakhmut direction, our troops continue their attacks west of Kremennaya and Svatovo - in the direction of Liman and Kupyansk, respectively. And also achieve tactical success. Near Avdiivka on the Donetsk front, units "Z" and "Storm" continue attacks in the area north of the specified suburb - in the direction of the Avdiivka industrial zone. I have no data on serious successes (allegedly achieved by some "military commanders"). According to my subjective feelings, the summer battle is approaching its highest point. A lot depends on the outcome. The next two or three weeks will decide the outcome of the summer campaign."
