This is the President respectfully greeting Hie Royal Majesty, Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin. He did not casually acknowledge. He genuflected to him. This is so heartwarming, and I hope a certain traditional ruler from the South**** sees this. Yes, this occurred partially because of the Omoluabi culture of the Southwest and majorly because the Oba of Benin is a monarch rarely seen in social events. And because of that, he had value added to the intrinsic value he gets from his throne. When a monarch is seen at every owambe and naming ceremony, his over circulation deflates his honour, leading to overfamiliarity from people who should have awe of him. Napoleon said, “If I am often seen at the theatre, people will cease to notice me.” As a revered traditional ruler, you should comport yourself in a manner that commands respect. This is more so when you are not just a traditional ruler, but also a spiritual leader. People like that occupy an office of high moral and spiritual authority and should not allow overfamiliarity because when they are disrespected, all the people they represent are also disrespected. When a Governor prostrates flat to greet an elder, a traditional and spiritual ruler should not tolerate some anyhow greeting that rubbishes the esteemed position he holds, not just in Nigeria but globally. Who the cap fits, let him wear it. #TableShaker

It’s so crazy how everything gets to Africa last. - Facebook monetisation has been ongoing since 2018 and stil not yet in Africa. - Instagram is monetised but not in Africa - Tiktok pays creators for in stream ads but not in Africa - Twitter just started and stil before it will get to Africa maybe when the money is remaining 1k. - YouTubers struggled in the past as well. More reasons we don’t get too excited when we hear these news of monetisation of social media platforms because we will be the last to experience it. But if they want to test a virus or a vaccine, Africa will come to their mind first. #JusticeForAfricanCreators

I have noticed with dismay, an emerging pattern where fake media reports and news items are predicated on interviews and press remarks I never granted. Two recent instances relate to my saying that I am looking forward to running for office in 2027

Distribution of the federal govt N8,000 stimulus checks, by states. Highest: Kano State - 1,250,476 Zamfra State - 1,163,611 Kebbi State - 1,086,728 Lowest: Ekiti State - 152,537 Enugu State - 153,587 Bayelsa State - 159,295 According to Arise News, 75% of the recipients have NO means of identifications, and also, 83% of them have no bank accounts. The distribution of the funds, according to the federal govt, is determined by poverty level. So, what this means is that, the north has the highest number of recipients because the region has the highest number of poor ppl by far, compared to the south, as seen above 👆. That said, when will Waspapping and Arewa Twitter in general protest this, as they always do each time Peter Obi says he would tackle poverty in the north, and bring it to the bare minimum, if declared President of Nigeria?

Soon you’ll understand why INEC refused to release the remaining documents to the LP team as ordered by the court, and why INEC deducted Peter Obi’s FCT, Abuja votes and added to Tinubu’s. What I am more interested in, is how the LP lawyers are going to tie these into their final address.

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State visited Governor Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos State Government House to discuss the ongoing demolition of Alaba market, which is predominantly inhabited by the Igbo community. I am glad that someone is there to represent the interests of the Igbo people, and I am always proud of Alex Otti. I believe he will strive to do his best for his constituents
