@LTHC1897 It's good but we're lower.. just. Let's see if any can get close. Thinking about it we'll put a new rule in place, club sides which aren't universities. 😁

Okay hockey world, here's a challenge. What's the average age of your first team, proof will be required. As we think we have the youngest side in the Midlands. Ever!

Thoughts today are very much with the friends & family of Bill Workman. My favourite memory was being told in no uncertain terms that unless a pub knew how to serve a pint of the black stuff, it wasn't a proper pub. Bill I know you are putting things right up there. Love Derwent

Sorry everyone, the rumours are true. After recovering from double pneumonia, our long standing chairman has been poached!

News now in from @DerwentHC U12s. The lads played really well, but we were unfortunately knocked out during the group phase. Great standard of hockey on show from all Derbyshire teams.

Still waiting for news on @DerwentHC U12s. I know U16s are disappointed with their run coming to an end. But you shouldn't be. Never forget what you achieved. All @DerwentHC are rightly very proud of you guys.

@HockeyHarrogate beat @DerwentHC U16s 2:1. Deserved winners @BowdonClub progress to national finals. All the very best. Finally, a big thank you to everyone, especially to all the Mum's who instead of getting breakfast in bed, were stood on the side of a hockey pitch. 🏑❤️

Still waiting for an update from U10s. U12s about to start their games. Also the 2nd goal has now been awarded to A. Frobisher... Not Messi. All count the same.
