Read my new post, and leave some feedback! "More Graph Theory, Not Any Results Yet": http://wp.me/p18YQu-4Y
Coming back to a graph theory approach to movement. This board is about to get messy! http://ow.ly/i/eiD4
Google+... Not Even Slightly Related to Catan http://wp.me/p18YQu-4U
I have google+ invites. Anyone who subscribes to developingcatan.wordpress.com gets one!
I've got some general movement games under my belt. Tonight I'm working on translating them to graphs. EXCITING!
I've got a programmer working on some cool things. Expansion is cool, because he's smarter than I am.
After a couple of games of testing general movement in #Catan, I'm still trying to figure out how to graph this stuff.
Does anyone know how the ratings on @settlersofcatan #Catan Online World work? Is it better to beat good opponents, or just wins/losses?
The last couple of games I've played online, people have been generally interested in the blog! Good encouragement, even though I lost a few
First game looking at player movement. Let's see how this goes!
Playing with @Mathematica and #Catan to see if I can generate cool graph theory things.
Something new to look at. What does your movement throughout a game look like generally? Is there a way to graphically represent it nicely?
@timhuzar thanks for the Follow Friday as well!
@timhuzar On a board is WAY better, but the online game takes significantly less time, and you can do it with only 1 or 2 people. Still fun!
Signing in for some #Catan online world. If you're there, friend me and let's play!
Lots of traffic on the blog today! (http://ow.ly/53aE8) It's nice seeing people read old posts. I like to think they're "catching up".
@ledface thanks for the follow! hope you enjoy the blog and the tweets! how'd you find us?
The worst thing about placing last is that there are 2 or 3 opportunities to corner you (depending on if it's a 3 or 4 player game).
Someone found the blog (http://developingcatan.wordpress.com/) by googling "peter_keep" (@peter_keep). OH NO THEY FOUND ME!
Any computer programmers looking for a fun #Catan project to join? Looking for some background programs to take data while I play online.
