@HLLivingLoco If 55 can improve his defense, why can't Monahan? We gave up a 1st but we still have Montreal's 2nd which will only be a handful of picks later....... hopefully 🤞

@WPGMurat everyone seems to think this year's Jets team are legit, then why am I getting real flashbacks to last year at this time when they collapsed? They aren't as hard on the puck as they used to be. They don't run teams out of the building anymore. Ease my mind, please!

@Teddier @MaxPichor @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice AND, only after there is a marked decrease in violence and drug/poverty related crimes can this happen. The way things have been done for years isn't working. We need to think outside the box. Imagine what $250M annually could accomplish.

@Teddier @MaxPichor @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice The government would have to take the equivalent of the police budget and pump it into social services. Not sure where the money comes from other than the tax payer. Only after the influx of cash to social services can the police budget be reduced and reallocated.

@MaxPichor @Teddier @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice Ask your nephew, Pete. Ask him how many calls get shuttled over to WFPS because WPS they can't go to them

@MaxPichor @Teddier @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice Those are facts. There are routinely hundreds of calls for service in the queue. Same for the fire/ems service. The paramedics are routinely in degraded mode and don't have enough ambulances to attend high priority calls.

@The_DarkCanuck @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice I understand, my point is, once they are committed to a DUI, they are off the streets for hours so now you have fewer cops on the street. So there are fewer cars to respond to other calls. The paperwork needs to be streamlined so they aren't held up for as long as they are.

@Teddier @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice I work along side your nephew. If it was possible, I would suggest going for a ride along

@cMACKLIVE I work directly with both of them and so does my partner, who is in social work. I can see your point, however, untill you work a month in their shoes and you might have your eyes opened I will say it one last time. Talk to your city and provincial representatives.

@cMACKLIVE And unfortunately due to this platform and the political atmosphere that permeates society, I can't see that changing. By the way I traditionally vote Left wing.

@cMACKLIVE I have worked directly with many police officers in my career and I have to say by and large they are a very professional and well trained group. But I see I'm not going to convince you otherwise. For whatever reason you aren't willing to listen to someone with a diff. Opinion.

@Teddier @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice Also, I'm not a police officer. But I've seen enough first hand to have at least a bit of an idea of how things are going on the street.

@Teddier @cMACKLIVE @DaltonLaba @wpgpolice Have you worked in emergency services? Do you have any first hand knowledge like having been on a ride along? Could things be run differently, yes but there are at times hundreds of calls for service in the queue. Just waiting for a car to be free.
