I don't usually post about this. One of the best bosses in my career was the focus of the docu series on Netflix & HBO, The Staircase. She was murdered, by her husband when i worked for her. Kathleen was extremely supportive, empathetic & intelligent. Overall very sad story.

Most people lack negotiating skills. Maybe it is the avoidance of "confrontation" as opposed to a skill. I learned this when leaving my bubble and being forced to negotiate taxi rates in another language every day.
