These two waited for an awards night and a shared microphone. That is not a flex. It is a choice about where the relationship is allowed to exist. Blue still has dates left. Roque already knows the words. The carpet was just the first room that required both of them at once.

Some of us joke about it in the mirror.  Others watch our partners rest a hand on a padded stomach and feel the ache of something real underneath the bit. This isn’t just camp. It’s the moment before the invoices, the agency calls, the country that might still say no. Plenty of straight people fall into parenthood.  We have to decide to walk through fire for it, then pretend the fire was cute. The belly gets the laughs today.  Tomorrow it’s the bank account, the legal gray areas, and the quiet fear that “blessed” might stay theoretical. That’s the part we don’t post.
