I paid this guy 5000, after paying 2500 in income tax off my 7500 earnt. Can I deduct this from my taxable income? @FinancialTimes I haven’t felt so bad in my life about staying in this country. I feel so bad for everyone else who face it regularly.
Appalled by how outsiders are treated on Pune roads. A minor collision in the congested Tulshibaug area with an unhelmeted motorcycle rider turned into a hostile extortion trap. Showing absolute civic responsibility, I personally dialed 112 to report it. @PuneCityPolice

@itshshekhar Bad thing is - they will hit someone else, damage themselves, but then the person who was trying to help by telling the police/hospitals gets the bills of innocence

@abhi_kulkarni85 @PuneCityPolice @PuneCityTraffic Try dialing 112 for once, you’ll be amazed at this. I’m planning to resign from my job in Pune because of this, I feel like it was the worst day of my life when I experienced something way worse than this.
@VictoryOverFoe @PuneCityPolice @CPPuneCity @nachiket1982 @DriveSmart_IN Man, if you go to the police, they will tell you - traffic lights don’t exist in Pune if you can easily break them when there is less traffic. I completely broke down today. I had a way worse incident than this, but I can’t even post to escape PII and shame.

Shockingly, the sub-inspector claimed "there is no helmet rule in Pune" and stood by, ignoring standard motor vehicle law training just to appease the local crowd. I was forced to pay under duress and fear of ground-level harassment. @DGPMaharashtra @CPPuneCity
