Even in Star Wars (or The Mandalorian in this case as I'm watching the second season, so no spoilers please), with all that imagination, they still show a classroom as a line of desks and kids sitting in front of a teacher (in this case a robot)..come on!! We can do better!

The more I hear experiences from other people, the more I'm surprised of how Finland is challenging the concept of whiteness. What might be considered as white in most parts of the world, here isn't. It would be worthy to dig deeper on this for sure.

Is it normal in other non-English speaking countries that a faculty of education would host a conference regarding international matters in higher education in the national language and not accesible in English? Asking for a friend

Words from a Finnish educator regarding their working conditions. Teachers in Finland are on a strike for the second time this term.Meanwhile, all one can listen from outside of Finland is that teachers are respected professionals and many other myths. Let's face the reality.

For the people refering to Finland as the best education in the world,how do you think that such idea reflects in the life in there? Or how do you think that having the "best education in the world" shapes the reality of everyone living there? I'd love to get some answers.
