@Olpus @TaroTheCerelean No one is asking them to stop patching the exploits, no one is asking them to do it themselves neither. I acknowledge Nintendo especially will never be an "open platform" kind of thing. My point is there is nothing WRONG with users unlocking their device. It is their hardware.

@Olpus @TaroTheCerelean Didn't buy a switch 2 for themes, I bought it for games. Nintendo games. But that does not mean the device can't be criticized?? Or that I'm not allowed to want freedom on it, to make it the perfect device for me?? Like what is your point it's non existent lmao

@Olpus @TaroTheCerelean Is it? My guy the Switch 2 is powerful too, it'll be a monster when emulation picks up on it. You keep saying why, n I've told u why like 6 times lol it's my hardware, and it'd be perfect for it. Also Nintendo games is not a weak reasoning my guy, they're literally peak.

@Olpus @TaroTheCerelean There's nothing wrong with wanting to use your hardware how you want. There is something wrong with pirating & stealing games. These are two completely separate things you and the lot keep mixing together when they are separate.

@Olpus @TaroTheCerelean The reason to emulate games on my switch 2 is plain and simple: Access to an improved version of games. A better version than Nintendo has ever cared to make. Why sit at a desk, or set up a laptop, when I can do it on my portable device MEANT for gaming?

@tophatcod @AesirMalos It's insane the amnt of people who are so stuck in the "console restriction" mindset that see freedom like it's a cardinal sin. holy. They can't NOT immediately attribute it to piracy & call it morally wrong, ignoring EVERYTHING homebrew is & only looking at pirates

@AesirMalos @BoTalksGames Yeah apparently people can not fathom the idea of just wanting to use your hardware to play your games how you want. It's like people walk into a mall, see that one store sells ai slop & is like "yeah the whole mall is ai slop.." like no?? holy shit I just want themes Man

@Olpus @TaroTheCerelean B. There's no need to do anything on any hardware, we do it because we want to. There's no reason for you to play your switch 2, but you do because you want to. There's no reason for me to emulate Mario 64 in widescreen on a Switch 2, but I would because I want to.

@Olpus @TaroTheCerelean ???? A. How is that an argument on why I should not be allowed to/shouldn't? Yes I own other hardware- but this is MY hardware all the same. And it's more convenient to bring w/me places, so it's actual the most ideal hardware to play games? Bcuz it's meant for that? 😭

@BoTalksGames @AesirMalos It's literally YOUR device that YOU bought, imagine if you weren't allowed to download shit on ur phone unless it was just from the google playstore?? Have consoles rlly done this much damage to ppls thoughts on freedom w/their possessions?

Like yeah so pirates can download pirated stuff their computers, should windows not let users download anything except off the microsoft store? Like use ur head n actually think abt it 😭

@IncineroarAlola @196boundi @ShadyTBunnyNSFW @wicked_strength @nintendo_cs For literally every reason I just said? You get full control of everything. Graphics, mods, anything you want to improve the game. And no, not really. Link's crossbow training is not coming to the switch. Even if it did, I would still want to emulate it for a better experience

@AesirMalos Android, even apple a little, windows, steam's hardware, they all let YOU do what YOU want w/the hardware YOU purchase & that's how it rlly should be!! It will never b like that on Nintendo especially of course. But there is nothing wrong w/this 😭

@AesirMalos Like this guy genuinely is not doing anything wrong. He modded HIS copy of mario kart on HIS hardware, how far have we lost our minds to think there's something wrong w/that? 😭 Piracy morality is an argument to b had, but unlocking your devices are not. That's so bs.
