Doctors in India must have the legal right to refuse Surgery or Treatment when the 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗱. Informed consent is not a one-way signature. After clear counselling on risks, prognosis and limits of medicine, if the family still insists on a result no doctor can promise, the doctor must be free to decline the case.
