BREAKING: Judge in the Arizona rancher case where 75-year-old George Alan Kelly was accused of shooting an illegal on his property, has declared a mistrial. Kelly was initially charged with second-degree murder. The announcement from the judge came after the jury was unable to reach a verdict. Kelly was accused of shooting and killing Gabriel Cuen-Buitimea on his land, who entered into the country illegally multiple times, in January 2023. “Long story short, this is simply not somebody who's looking for the American dream. There's no evidence that this person is here for those kinds of benign purposes,” Kelly's defense attorney said during closing arguments. “And we bring that up, not, you know, to be judgmental about Gabriel or to not have compassion for him. But when people are involved in a criminal lifestyle, it's dangerous. It's more inherently dangerous than simply being a migrant who's coming here. So it's relevant for that reason.”
@CollinRugg This should have been an easy not guilty verdict.
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg Fr fr, glad this guy won't do any jail time.
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg The democrats on jury, being communists, would want to put this rancher in prison for life.
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg It should be pretty easy for Trump too but we see how thats going..
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg Exactly, it does not bode well that it got this far.
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg That’s the truly scary part 😲😲I’m shocked
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg That county is solid Democrat and high % Hispanic. I'm thrilled the not guilty contingency didn't cave. They won't retry. But his life is ruined. The debt of the defense will likely ruin him unless givesendgo donations will cover it.
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg We have to understand that the left consists of activists They don’t care about the law So as conservatives, we also have to practice jury nullification and absolutely vote not guilty for anything to do with constitutionally protected rights like self defense 1A 2A 4A etc.
@DogRightGirl @CollinRugg The cartel threatened some of the jury.
