At Salina Turda, displays chart the history of a Transylvanian salt-mining industry that dates back to antiquity. Retrieved from ruin in 1992 the mine now features an incredible subterranean play park with a boating lake, ferris wheel and mini golf #TopBunk2 ⁦@TravWriters⁩

The reward for an hour of scrambling up the forested slopes of Mt Tâmpa - home to bears and lynx - is an exceptional view of #Braşov. They say the best thing to do in bear country is to talk as you walk, so you never surprise the animals. We had Barney with us; we were fine.
