It seems Bong Go doesn’t know the separation of powers among different branches of govt. This is dangerous since he has plans of running as President one day. His ambitions for the future is putting Duterte’s govt at risk of being criticised for engaging in patronage politics.
I think his statement is stupid. It’s not just up to the President to renew it. It’s up to Congress and now, SC after the Quo Warranto. Bong Go should stop showing off and giving the impression he can influence the President. He is now a senator and should act like one.
