Alex Karp, CEO of @PalantirTech: “You are sitting at your elite school pretending that because you watched a TikTok twice and got an A+ on some crazy paper, because your professor couldn’t get a job anywhere else, that you actually understand the world.”
@DrEliDavid @PalantirTech What would be the inverse of Karp’s claim? “You dropped out of school, #FoxNews is your Bible, and know that Arabs and Muslims are the problem—they only understand force! Palantir will hire you as a janitor in a heartbeat!”
You might guess that those elite schools will lose a lot of reputation. This then will translate into less revenues from students and less revenue from sponsors. However, look at the context. ESG ratings require corporations to employ many new diversity officers. These are in high demand and it is a great opportunity for a well-paid job for mediocre students. This kind of brain washing qualifies students for these jobs. There are new sponsors that endorse this political shift, and that are actually driving this transition. Those universities are not stupid but they are businesses optimizing profit.
@DrEliDavid @JennaEllisEsq @PalantirTech Never a better time to be from a state school. Time to give those harder working young people a chance.
