Spot on. At the start of last season, I labeled the Dolphins a finesse team, which ruffled some feathers. Yet, the film & their draft/signing choices speak volumes. In contrast, the 49ers prioritize physicality, making it a core part of their identity, from the D-line to the WRs.

@DrGridiron_MD If you get sacks and QB pressures and are a top 5 run offense how are you also a finesse team? Don't those stats come from physicality? People see fast WRs and RBs and just slap the label on, no?
@DrGridiron_MD Being a finesse team is not a detriment unless your character mimics that of @MiamiDolphins . Bill Walsh's team were not particularly physical, just mentally and physically fresh come late season. But they drafted and traded very wisely. Walsh era killed the Shula model.
@DrGridiron_MD I’ve been saying for years the dolphins are soft. Lack a physical mindset. It starts at the top and works its way down to the players. The fact that Flores and Fangio are no longer here proves the organization is soft
@DrGridiron_MD That's why they fade away at the end of the season every year..
