Metformin is no longer the first line drug in treatment of hyperglycemia in patients with ASCVD, CKD & Heart failure. Consensus report by ADA & EASD now recommends SGLT2i or GLP1 agonists as 1st line drugs in these patients. Weight management goals are now a co-primary priority

Divi's is getting stronger on sartans manufacturing because of backward integration. They make the KSM Ortho Tolyl Benzonitrile using photochemistry. No other sartan manufacturer is backward integrated.
