@tay_a_fisher @coraaholt Fear not! With a union, that won't be possible. We will negotiate for limits on consecutive overnight shifts and make it harder to be fired. Not to mention, you'll get extra night pay!

Students, are you paid fairly? Front desk workers: Drake pays $7.25. The Des Moines average is $14.50. IT service gang: Drake pays $7.25. DSM average is $14. The DSM median wage for under-25yo is $15/hr. At Drake? You guessed it: $7.25.

It's clear to all of us: Drake student workers need a union. Campus couldn't run without us, but we're sure not treated like it. Pete Seeger put it best: "solidarity forever, for the union makes us strong!"
