While it's always good to dream big, it's important for students to consider schools where they would thrive and be happy on their Reach, Target, AND Safety lists. I want you to be excited when ANY of those acceptance letters come in.

Admissions staff don’t need to know your whole life story. Just something interesting about you and the way that you think. Once you get started, you may find that the words begin to flow from your fingertips more easily than you had thought they would.

When deciding what makes a dream school YOUR dream school, try not to be overly focussed on a school's rank. There are many components that go into these rankings and you would be best to evaluate what is most important to YOU in a school.

My top advice for a college interview is to tell your interviewer something that makes you special and different. They will love hearing something new, and will enjoy the opportunity to add diversity of interests to their campus.
