$PONS got a rival. $TORCH wants the launchpad throne
@Torchpaddotfun is only 13 days old and already cooking:
TORCH: $106k 7d revenue, $11m mcap
PONS: $460k 7d revenue, $172m mcap
Look at the mcap vs revenue gap
Flywheel is the same as PONS:
more users → more volume → more fees → more burn
Chart went to nearly $20M in 10 days
All metrics growing every day: users, fees, burns
Meanwhile PONS is looking weak rn
ATL on revenue, low burn rate, chart bleeding
Tough period for Pons and its holders
Too early to say if Torch can dethrone Pons on RH Chain
But competition drives progress
This will push Pons to get better too
$PONS buybacks dropped -80% in 1 week. Why?
Oct 9-13 was ~$250K/day. Dropped to ~$120K from the 16-20. Now it’s been ~$50K for several days
$250K → $120K → $50K
The 7 day burning cycle finally caught up to the lower volume and fees
Early Oct burns were eating the bigger
When you have conviction, FUD is never a problem! Its an opportunity presented by the weak hands or those who missed the first ride.
I made use of it by adding more $TORCH and $TORCHY
Next to these to im closely following $LYRO as well because i think, when it comes to utility, its the best that launched on @Torchpaddotfun so far.
UP we go 🔥
Revenue is the new meta
There’s no better opportunity than with those that power their own flywheel.
1 -> $HYPE $17.2B
2 -> $UNI $4.41B
3 -> $TORCH $10.7m

BOYCOTT THE CASINO. BACK THE BUILDER. 🔥
Pump.fun turned crypto into a casino where attention is the product, liquidity is the exit, and retail is too often left holding the bag.
The market doesn’t need more launches. It needs projects that build, generate revenue, create real utility, and give people a reason to believe beyond the next green candle.
It’s time to stop rewarding the cycle and start rewarding execution.
That’s where TORCH 🔥 comes in.
While the market is drowning in short-lived hype, Torch has a chance to represent something different: a revenue-driven narrative, a community with conviction, and a vision of what the next generation of on-chain projects could become.
The mission isn’t just to pump another token. It’s to help rebuild trust in a market that desperately needs it.
No more worshipping launchpads. No more celebrating disposable tokens. No more confusing speculation with innovation.
Boycott the casino mentality. Support real builders. Watch Torch. 🔥
Pump culture created the exhaustion. The next chapter must be about execution.
TORCH: Not just another candle in the casino — a chance to light the way out.

We've seen this setup before. robinhood:0x000050e18ffa3f8f7ad170eb9cef160eb3ed1111 is starting to look interesting again
Despite the rough markets, Torch continues to put up strong numbers across volume, fees, burns and launches.
All in roughly 2 weeks.
Reminds me a lot of early $PONS.
It had a brutal first pullback too, but platform activity held strong and the flywheel spinning. Not long after, it went on to send well past $100M MC.
Now I'm seeing a similar disconnect between price and platform activity with @Torchpaddotfun
Not saying history repeats, or that they're the same beast, but there's a pretty clear bullish case here.
I like the R/R around $10M MC and I'm betting on it.
Up and up.

As mentioned in the previous update, I expected that we would have one further move up to complete the first set of Waves 1-5, and therefore to complete Wave (1) of the higher degree. I mentioned that "the triangle target would have us closer to $19m (at which point we may want to target $20m, too)" - so terminating at $19.5m was very much within the expected range.
It remains to be seen whether the correction to $7m was the entire Wave (2) correction (which is my working assumption), or whether this was just Wave a of Wave (2) and we would therefore have a Wave b up (maybe to around $16m), before a final Wave c down to a lower low (likely sub $5m). Typically I would assume the latter as the more likely scenario, because Wave (2) has been far shorter in duration than Wave (1) (I would usually expect to be correcting for another few days) - but I am being swayed by just how bullish we are, meaning that this may very well be the end of the correction.
We have found support just below the 61.8% retracement level of Wave (1), which is also the top of the 4H Demand Wick highlighted red. We broke through the Daily S1 Pivot and closed back above it, holding it as support. We have also dipped below but then broken back above the 4H Demand Structure highlighted blue, holding it as support also. The most volume that we have had on the entire history of the chart occured on the Wave (2) low, with a long lower wick on the candle - this is capitulation (a load of demand came in, signaling a likely bottom).
We are back above the Weekly R1 Pivot and are trying to break through a descending resistance line at time of writing - doing so would be an early clue that the bottom is indeed in. Breaking out above the Wave b high of $14.8m would add significant confidence to the count.
If the current count is correct, Wave (3) should be targeting a minimum of $38.5m and Wave (5) should be targeting a minimum of $45.9m. As we saw with Waves 3 and 5 of the lesser degree, however, we are incredibly bullish (given how shallow the corrections have been relative to those typically seen in these sorts of assets) and therefore could very much overextend either or both of these targets. Exciting times. Lets see how it plays out.

Why The Approach of @Torchpaddotfun is Better?
1. It solves a real structural problem
Most EVM launchpads that use Uniswap v4 put creator fees inside a hook attached to one pool. This works at the beginning, but becomes fragile once a token gains traction. External parties can create a new pool without that hook, set slightly lower fees, and capture the routing.
As a result, both the creator and the launchpad lose a large portion of their fees. TORCH avoids this entirely by embedding the fee in the token contract itself.
2. More robust and durable
By placing the tax at the token level (and only on buys), Torch makes the fees much harder to circumvent. Instead of adding more complexity on top of hooks, they chose a simpler and more resilient design.
3. Better alignment of incentives
Creators keep earning longer.
Liquidity providers are encouraged to stick with the main pool (thanks to the standard 0.3% fee).
Holders are not taxed when selling.
The launchpad maintains a more stable revenue stream.
4. Less dependent on the weaknesses of v4 hooks
Uniswap v4 hooks are powerful, but they come with known limitations (easy bypasses, implementation risks, and complexity). Torch deliberately avoided relying on them for the most critical part (creator fees).
Most recent EVM launchpads adopted Uniswap v4 hooks without fully addressing the bypass problem. Torch identified the weakness and chose a different, more defensive architecture.

@Torchpaddotfun one of my comfiest holds at the moment
The community brought this screenshot to my attention yesterday, and I must say I’m happy someone took note.
Before we launched, I shared quite a bit of research showing that 9/10 EVM launchpads are actively losing creator fees due to flaws in Uniswap v4 hooks - or well,
how to farm TORCH with $AURA:
1. buy $AURA on torch
2. hold. torch pays the holder share in TORCH about every 2h, weighted by size × time
3. profile → rewards → claim all
your AI farms aura on the side.
Numbers and metrics doesn’t lie.
$PONS | @ponsdotfamily $172M mkt cap, volume traded $6.2M
$TORCH | @Torchpaddotfun $8M mkt cap, volume traded $2.6M
We found a gem.
Patience will be rewarded.
Soon $TORCH price will catch up with the fundamentals.
