We are seeing an issue with Google this afternoon with intermittent connectivity ot 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and Google search. Schools with automatic internet failover might find this feature being activated due to dropped packets to 8.8.8.8
Unplanned service outage for E2BN Peterborough City Fibre schools. Equipment failure at network edge. Failover service in place. We will restore full service at next opportunity.
We are aware of a problem with some customers that have Zen Internet broadband or leased lines. Symptoms might be slow or intermittent loading of web sites. If you think that you have this issue please log via [email protected] we will check to see if you have a Zen line.
We are investigating an issue with DNS resolution for schools that access the JISC Secure DNS services via E2BN. This would have looked like a partial internet outage at school level. We have logged a ticket with JISC and have pointed our service elsewhere while they deal with it
E2BN schools in Peterborough. We are seeing intermittent degradation of service from around 09:30 to 09:55. We will continue to monitor. This has been reported to JISC our service provider.
E2BN City Fibre 13 schools on Werrington hub are down. We suspect that it is a local power outage. We will report to Peterborough City Council team.

We are seeing schools services down in Peterborough in the Werrington area due to a local power outage.

Services in Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire are coming back on line. The outages appear to have been caused by a disruption to power supplies in the area affecting customer premises and telecom exchanges.

Good morning - we are getting reports of intermittent issues with Google Services including this morning. This appears to be a Google issue and not related to your broadband provider or filtering service.
PCC Werrington hub power was restored. We are seeing our sites coming back online.
Peterborough, CityFibre network/ Werrington hub. The power on-site was turned off due to site works. Engineers on-site are working to restore it ASAP.
Update Peterborough the CityFibre network - Werringthon hub is down, eight of our schools are affected. We know it's on-site and power-related. We do not have an exact ETA.
