In the before times, I ran a socialist food club. Calm down, it's just a co-op for meal prep... and wine drinking. Now I just run my mouth. #WA01. youtu.be/v7919LANXOE Washington, USA Joined April 2018

Okay @USAA, I've had enough. I've got a simple water damage claim that needs to be resolved but my adjuster has been MIA for months. He will not return my calls or emails; I'm at my wits end. Living in a construction zone since the 1st of March isn't it. Send reinforcements.

Huh. So, this book has no author... it's apparently a collection of essays written by historians and edited together - somehow affiliated with the university of California. They're throwing shade.

I'm reading a book on the history of taste. It's fascinating. 🤓 TIL ancient Romans used lead pots to concentrate sauces *because* the lead added a sweet flavor. 🤔

Because I'm a huge nerd and this has been bothering me since I tweeted... It's not the lead that's sweet. The acid in the food reacts with the lead and creates a crystalline - lead acetate. That's actually what's sweet. 😌

I just spent an hour in a dentist chair, and I think the nitrous recalibrated my moral compass. 😎

We lost power last night - Apparently I took selfies in the hotel room for no reason. That's fun.

Me, at a bar: I want a cider The Bar: undefined shenanegans happening. Bartender: making a new drink "here, you wanna try this!?" Me: Why not!? I am now drinking a Pumpkin Spice Vanilla Martini. Somehow, this is both my favorite and least favorite thing of the day.
