@NathanMcNulty @HeidyKhlaaf Well, if you work at a lab, especially if you’re a grad student then a professor is a professional reference, they’re essentially your manager. Academia is where a lot of this research should be done regardless. Multiple short stints at a lab usually aren’t good though.
